With the amount of demands we have on a day-to-day basis, it’s no wonder the majority of society is hyped up on whatever can get them through the day.
What may seem super simple in multitasking, our brain is going even faster than we imagine with all the subtle activities we don't even consider - that humming noise at the back of the room, the tapping of the wrist from your watch, the itch that needs scratching on your knee.
Add to that the meetings, sales pitches, drop offs, and dinner plans, and the overstimulation can get a bit much.
