Gut-Friendly Boost 4th of July Drink Recipes

Gut-Friendly Boost 4th of July Drink Recipes

You know how much I love my Kombucha – the probiotics found in there make my body sing.

So much so that I’ve started my own little brew in the comfort of my own kitchen because, porqué no?

But when I’m short on time, out on vacay or on the road somewhere, I do like the comfort of the many probiotic drinks readily available. Specially when it comes down to using them for recipes and things.

Here’s where KeVita falls into the mix. This one is different because it’s delicious on its own or as a mixer.

It has a lightly sparkling, refreshing fruit juice taste that, get this, is: certified organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO Project Verified and vegan.

What are Probiotics?

Probiotics help protect us in two ways:

1. the role they play in our digestive tract
2. the impact they have on our immune system

They get to the core of the human diet – creating balance and wellness at the body’s core and replenishing “good” bacteria in the digestive system. And because 70% of our immune system lives in our gut, probiotics are a key ingredient to boosting that immune system.

Probiotic Drinks and Kids

Mixing or freezing KeVita still allows the cocktails and fro-biotic popsicles to retain most of the four complementary strains of live probiotics: Bacillus coagulans, L.paracasei, L.plantarum, and L.rhamnosus. These strains provide amazing benefits to the health of your gut and immunity and – bonus for Independence Day backyard feasts – they help correct gut flora imbalance and reduce bloating! So you won’t regret your holiday choices as much on July 5th!

Kids can enjoy the fro-biotic popsicles too because of KeVita’s proprietary technique which delivers live probiotics, but in a yeast free format and without the alcohol level of other fermented beverages.
